I was born in Barcelona and Barça runs through my veins since I can remember. My first team hero was Joaquim Rifé because he played right back like I did when I started playing. Many great players have come since, but I still have a special place in my heart for Rifé and his relentless runs up the right wing.
Moving to a rural town in Arkansas when I was young meant years of listening to games on a shortwave radio and calls to family back home to find out scores. All that changed when I moved to New York and found the Penya. My passion for Barça has finally found a home at the Penya, where we don’t just watch games together, but also come together as family. We share our passions, help each other in times of need and contribute to making our city a better place for all. That’s what makes us Més Que Una Penya!
